Introducing the iPhone 8 Plus…

Yet to be released, the iPhone of the future is already receiving talks, speculation and press!

We know that the date of announcement for the iPhone 6 Plus and 6s Plus was 9th September, and the iPhone 7 launched on 7th September – so the technological whizz’s of the world have speculated that the next member of the iPhone family will follow suit with a release date in early September.

The products generally land on shelves around two weeks later so pencil in your diary a shopping trip for mid-september 2017.

The good news is that this gives us plenty of time to save as if previous price trends are adhered to, this will be one of the most expensive phones available. If Apple sticks to its current pricing you’ll be looking at £719 for a 32GB model, £819 for a 128GB one and £919 for a 256GB handset. We expect on contract prices will be around the £45 mark per month.

The Specifications

– The most anticipated iPhone yet is likely to have a 5.8 inch screen, a step up from the 5.5 inch display of the iPhone 7 Plus.
– Speculation suggests the device will have a curved glass back, compared with the flat metal back of its predecessors.
– Sources close to apple suggest that the home button will be removed all together, with a finger-touch id sensor built into the home screen.

Some say the phone/tablet hybrid will be a flip-phone whilst other sources suggest that the iPhone will be available in up to three different sizes.

Nevertheless, the You Need An IT Guy team are looking forward to seeing what Apple has in store for us!
